A little history

Félix dOrt is housed in a beautiful bourgeois-style house dating from the very early 20th century; it is listed as one of the town's heritage sites. Several annexes have been added to the original house over the years. Next to the main house, the maid's house has been preserved.

At the end of the 19th century, this same site was home to the Buire automobile factory warehouse. This can be seen on an old postcard, probably dating from March 1890.

Guest rooms

Since November 1, 2014, the ground floor has become a guest house. The five rooms have been furnished and decorated with care. Each has its own theme, paying tribute to the assets and heritage of the city of Lyon. The rooms open directly onto a private garden.

A theater company

This house hides yet another special feature: its cellars have been converted into a small private theater, and the Thespis company has made its home here since 2009. If you're a fan of the performing arts, you may be able to attend a rehearsal or performance!
